- Sunday, 16 February 2020

This months walk explorers the Rushey Meads and the Nazeing Lagoons complex. A delightful winter walk with the potential to see some wintering wildfowl along the way. The ex gravel diggings are a superb setting for a winter walk and this is a short but interesting walk around this wetland site.
The walk will take you around some of the key fishing sites in the Lee Valley and all of the Nazeing Lagoons hold specimen Carp in them which the anglers all know by name!. Coming back around the lagoons you will follow the river for a short while before coming back the other side of Rushey Meads through the wild scrub area where you might see winter thrushes or other wildlife.
This is a great walk around some diverse habitat but also just a nice stroll out in the park on a winters day.
