Volunteer of the Year Award 2010

The Lee Valley Volunteer of the Year for 2009 was Colin Short who was presented with his trophy by Shaun Dawson, Chief Executive, in November.  As with past years it was a difficult descion choosing the overall winner as we had so many strong nominations.  Colin has been helping in the Fisheries Department for many years.  He combines his passion for fishing, in depth knowledge of the Park and his never ending in his role as a volunteer and we felt he was a worthy winner.

We are now looking for nominations for the 2010 Volunteer of Year, so if you think one of your volunteer colleagues deserves the award why not nominate them for this years award?.
