Following Government guidance on Coronavirus COVID-19 we have temporarily closed many of our venues (find out more here). We’re monitoring the situation closely and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it’s safe to do so.
While our venues are closed, you may want to visit Lee Valley Regional Park’s open spaces. If you do, you must follow the latest Government advice on social distancing. While the park is a great place to walk, run or cycle, to enjoy nature and recharge, you must be responsible: do not meet up with friends, only visit with people you live with and only come once a day.
Being outside is good for you, but social distancing is essential for everyone’s health. If an area looks busy, go somewhere else.
Play hockey or tennis at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We offer sessions for beginners all the way through to advanced players for both sports.
From children’s tennis lessons to cardio tennis on our indoor and outdoor courts. If it’s hockey you’re into, groups and clubs can book to play hockey on our two striking Union Jack fringed pitches or get involved in our courses and activity sessions.

The venue is run by Lee Valley Leisure Trust which is committed to delivering enduring benefits for both sports for many years to come by capitalising on the opportunities presented from the staging of the world’s greatest sporting festival, where Team GB’s women’s hockey team took bronze.
Two brand new water based hockey pitches, among the finest playing surfaces in the country are complemented by four indoor tennis courts in a spectacular tennis hall and six outdoor hard courts.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre combines community and elite use. It caters for players competing at international level, to clubs, schools, enthusiasts and people new to both sports. It will host the Wheelchair Tennis Championships each November.
